My Question or Issue

Why can’t i use spotify without spotify premium?

As long as i can remember you could use spotify with a free account but you had some restrictions, but now if i don’t have a premium account i can’t even use my account? Why is that?

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

Unfortunately, the Free plan is currently not available in South Korea. In order to use Spotify, you must have Premium Individual or Duo.

 

It is common that not all subscription types are available initially when Spotify launches in a new region. Rest assured, they're always looking into opportunities to expand offers and available subscriptions on a case-by-case basis for each region.
