Cancelled my Spotify subscription after 7 years

Today I cancelled my Spotify subscription after 7 years. For the past 4 I have been using the student discount for £5 per month, great! but now i'm not a student and I ask myself 'is this product worth £9.99 a month? In USA its $9.99, thats like £6 here? why are we paying more? the annual subscription roughly works out at £45 difference. unfair. I can get apple music for free through family and I will use that from now on, i really liked Spotify and would have like to stay, even if it meant paying, £6 is reasonable. But I wont be ripped off for being in another country.
