Cancelling then restarting later or Suspend?

My Question or Issue

Can I suspended by account for a few months until this COVID-19 thing is over?  Or if I have to cancel when I'm ready to sign up again, will all my playlists, etc be there; i.e. will I use the same username?

Hey @tkablair,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

You can cancel your subscription without any changes to your Spotify music library or account credentials. Once you cancel, your account will revert back to the free version of the service on what would have been your next subscription renewal date.

Feel free to subscribe again when the time is right.

So this means when I do restart my subscription it will be like I never left?

Pretty much yes @tkablair!

The only thing you'll have to do when you resubscribe will be to download the tunes you'd like to have available for offline listning.

Otherwise even on the free service you'll still get to keep all of your saved songs and playlists.
