Change from student plan to family plan?

Hello,

I currently pay for the Student Premium each month and have recently renewed this for another year. My mum has just paid for the Family plan, and I am wanting to join this through the invite link she sent me. However I want to cancel my current student plan so I no longer pay for this. 

On this page (https://support.spotify.com/ca-en/article/cancel-premium/) there is no option for me to cancel.

If I accept the family plan from my mum, will my student plan automatically end?

Can anybody help please?

Welcome to the Community!

If you accept the Family Premium invitation from your mother your plan will automatically switch, so you won't be charged for the Student plan any longer. This happens automatically.

Please make sure you're logged in your right account when accepting the invitation. Make sure it's your username and profile picture.

After you accept the invite you can check on your account page the status of your subscription - it should say Premium Family.
