Change username after account is hacked

Hi all, someone used my email address to start a Spotify account before I started using Spotify. Now I am a Spotify user, and I used my email to set up the account. I changed all the personal info on my profile, but I can't change the username. I know Spotify isn't allowing ppl go change usernames now, but shouldn't this be an exception? I don't want to be stuck with a username that I did not create in the first place. I tried to find ways to send a msg to Spotify but couldn't find it. Help anyone? Thanks!

Right now, it isn't possible to change your username. If you don't like your current username - there are some alternative options here.

So this is something that needs to be dealt with by Spotify. Why do I need
to open a new email to create a new account with a new username, when my
original email was hacked in the first place. I'd like to file a complaint
but there is no 'contact me' option on the website. Where can I find this?
