Changed credit card for subscription and got charged on both new and old one

Hi,

I changed the credit card details for my subscription payment a few months back and now, all of a sudden, the subscription is being charged on both the previously used credit card and the new one. Can you please remove the withdrawal from the previously used card and reimburse me?

Regards,

Simon

Hey @n0wis!

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

There are two things that could have happened here:

  1. You hit the button twice when upgrading. If this is the case the two charges will be on the same date and your next payment date will be 2 months away. You can check by visiting your subscription page.
  2. You’ve created a second account and subscribed to that one too. Are the charges on different dates? Check your other email inboxes for emails from Spotify that can give you a clue as to where the second account is registered. You can then cancel the second account by following the steps here. Just be sure to check you’re deleting the account without your playlists (check by signing in with both).
Let us know how it goes.
