Changed from premium family to duo, got charged an extra month. Charge back?

There wasn't an option to switch from premium to duo on the subscription page, only revert to free. I did that and then switched to duo and was immediately charged an extra month... pretty sleezey ball from spotify. Any way to get a credit for this or should I just do a chargeback and move on?

Hey @insulinman14,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

Switching from Family to Duo is not possible if you've been a member in the family subscription and not the manager. If that's the case and you were indeed a member, then cancelling your subscription reverts your account to free immediately. Hence, starting a new duo subscription would result in an immediate charge as you described. On this page you can find more on how Premium Duo works.
