I have recently had to change my credit card. How do I alter my details so that my Spotify account isn't cancelled?

De la imagen que publicaste se puede ver que formas parte de un plan familiar del cual no eres Admin. Es por eso que no puedes modificar el metodo de pago.

I don't know if they realize this or not but trying it today, Aug 9, 2017, there is no link to update any information under Subscription OR Family Premium plan. The link they show in the "help" information is incorrect. Well, it's not there now. I can't update my payment. I need to change my card because we had to cancel it due to someone hacking it.

My account and credit card are both registeres to Brazil. 

I am trying to update my credit card information, but I am in the US at this moment, and it forces me to add social security and other information that is not pertinent to my country's profile. 

My creditcard expired and all I want to do is update it with the new expiration date. Why does it have to be so hard? 

The naming on the fields were wrong. I went ahead and typed the correct information and it worked. 

 

They need to fix the names.

Having same problem, now my account will close and I'll lose my entire playlists

Don't worry. You won't lose any playlists, friends, or your music library, as long as you keep using the same username you've been using. Those are independent from your subscription status.

 

You can delete your payment info before updating your card info. You will still be Premium until the remaining days of your subscription are used up.

 

What I'm suggesting you to do is this:

 

1. Go to your Subscription page.

2. Click UPDATE under Payment Info. If it shows below 'Would you like to cancel your subscription?' click there and cancel.

3. Check the box to 'Remove', and click 'Change' button,

 
Note: If you have your Premium active you won't be able to remove your payment info. That's why it's important to cancel before removing your payment info.
 

After you've removed your payment info, and resubscribe to Premium with the new card info to ensure that your offline music won't be deleted and that your subscription will renew correctly when it's time.

hello i need to change my credit card info but cant remember email address or password. will you please help so i dont lose abt 5 yrs of playlists?

I have been trying to change my payment option for days since I have a different credit card, but the website continues to say:

 

Right now we're doing some system maintenance, so you are not able to manage your subscription or update your payment details. Please check back a little later or contact customer support.

 

How can I update my payment options if the option is not available?

If you contact support from your account, the support reply may probably go to the email you no longer have access to.

 

Log out of the Spotify website in your browser and fill out this contact form. Someone from Spotify will be happy to help you out.

 

Make sure you are logged out of any Spotify account in your browser when using the contact form or the username and custom email field will not show up. It is important so that you can enter the information of the account you are having trouble with. If you are logged in with a different account that is not having the problem, that account info will be used and support will be confused.

 

You should get a reply within 24 hours. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

 

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.

You should try with a different browser, or open a private window (incognito mode), and see if that does it.
 
Also, try in a different device (computer, tablet, etc.)

I am trying to update my credit card on my account but it is not allowing me to do that or anything in subscription because of an "update".  My credit card has changed so you won't get payment -  Please just cancel my account for now since you are doing an "update" this is very inconvenient!!!  Cancel my account

Seems this issue is currently Under Investigation.

 

You should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

Having the exact same problem. I have tried numerous cards. I have tried on numerous browswers and devices as well. Wish I could just call in and setup a new auto payment.

 

I have switched to a new bank so I therefore have a new CC... I have tried over and over again on the "subscriptions" page but it won't show any way to make a change! It only states that I haver premium family, which is true... and when I switch to that page I still can't change the cc!  Looks like a lot of other spotify members have encountered the same problem, why would a company make it so difficult to pay them?!?!?!

I followed your instructions. Nothing happened. I was given this message:

 

"This form has expired. Please reload the page and try again." 

 

I've tried many times and they keep giving me this message. Pleae help. I want to change my credit card details.

I`m trying to change my credit card number and when i'm at changing details nothing is happening, not even the searcher??? I hate it when i'm  stuck like this for 30 minutes, let us talk to someone
