Changing to Family while still subscribed to Premium

I'm still subscribed to Premium until 9.30.2018 but I want to change into Family premium, Will I get reimbursed if I did or would spotify eat the remaining payment that I've already made until 9.30.2018? Thank you

I’ve tried this on my end, and once you add Premium for Family on your account, your plan will be effective immediately, but you won’t be double charged for the days you’ve paid for. 

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• It’s not possible to purchase Premium for Family with a gift card.
• You can’t combine it with any trials, or offers such as the student discount.
• If you're subscribed to Spotify Premium through another company (e.g. your broadband/mobile provider), you need to cancel your subscription with them to upgrade to Premium for Family.
