Charge for premium instead of student premium after card change

My Question or Issue

 I recently lost my bank card and it just so happens that while I was waiting for my replacement card It was the time of month I pay for Spotify.

 

I got a notice saying the payment didn’t go through but had to wait two days for my new card to arrive  to update my payment details.

 

Once I updated the details Spotify immediately took 9.99 out of my account but I’ve had a student account for well over a year now. 

 

Is there any way I can get this money back and only be charged the student fee?

Don’t worry - this is an issue that a lot of users on the student discount experience. The best way to go about this is to get in touch with our Customer Support team here, who will be able to take a look at your account and see what's happening backstage.
