My Question or Issue

 So the last few days I have been trying to sign up for premium and it keeps saying my payment failed and to try again. Well I have tried numerous times and it still said payment failed. Finally got the payment to go through and when I went to check my bank statement I was charged 4.99 and 9.99 for premium.

Can you let me know if you have received a receipt through your email for one or both of these charges? You may need to check you spam/junk folder.

Try emailing someone at Spotify specifically in order to get your money back or get confirmation about why it happened. 

Hi, I only have a receipt for the 9.99 charge but my bank statestatement also has a 4.99 charge

In this case it would appear that the amount of 4.99 is a 'pending' amount which your bank should credit back to you in a few days.

 

Was you expecting it to be a charge of 9.99 initially?
