Charged but on a free account. Request refund

Charged but on a free account. Request refund

Hi,

I've just been charged $12.99 for my spotify account. I cancelled my paid subscription quite some time ago. In my account settings it says that I'm a free user, and I'm certainly not getting premium features on my account. I would like a refund of the charge please.  carlee Irwim

Hey there @31lgrncgunhbaptgdnwz

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We've gone ahead and edited your post, since it contained sensitive info. Keep in mind this is a public space, so, to maintain your data secure, we've deleted the screenshots you kindly sent us.

Now, since you mentioned you canceled the plan some time ago, we'd suggest you make sure you received the confirmation of the cancelation on your email in the past. If you don't find it, perhaps the cancelation was not successful. In that case, you can try and cancel the subscription once more by following these steps.

In the screenshots, we noticed you were on your account overview. There, you can find general details of your account, such as your username and the email address linked to it.

To learn more about your subscription status, you need to go to Manage your plan, under subscription. If you see your payment details and the type of plan you've subscribed to, then it means your account is Premium. Now, if the account is on the free tier, you'll see under Manage your plan as well. You can learn more about our refund policy here.

We hope you found this helpful. Let us know if you need anything else.
