Charged for Student Premium

I was charged $7.49NZD for the student discount on premium. But I hadn't completed the application, as I couldn't find the appropriate documents to upload to prove I am a student. Although I was charged, I still didn't have premium on My Spotify. I've paid for the normal $14.99NZD for Spotify premium just because I need some music. But I would like to know what has happened with my $7.49NZD and if I could get it refunded ASAP

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken.

Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank. You can reach out to them for more information about any pending payments.
