Charged for two different subscriptions

Charged for two different subscriptions

Hey guys, so I here's what happened. Last night I looked into purchasing premium for my account so I went and had a look at the different services available. I saw the student premium option, typed in my details and read that I wouldn't be charged until I confirmed the next screen about uni details. I clicked continue to the uni details screen and found my institute wasn't on the list, so I backed out and purchased the 3 months for $14.99 premium service. This morning I checked my bank account and found I've been charged not only the $14.99, but also the $7.49 for student premium. What can I do to get this extra charge refunded?

Hey @Joseph_R,

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken.

Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank. You can reach out to them for more information about any pending payments.
