Charged twice for family pack

Charged twice for family pack

Initially, I was going to pay for the family pack, and the payment didn't go through at first. I didn't think much about it and decided to redo the entire process and the payment went through.

I later found out (roughly a week afterwords) that I was charged twice and an overdraft. The thing is, I only recieved one receipt for the original charge through my email and the other receipt is no where to be found.

And no, I didn't recieve an extra month, just the 1 month. 

Help is appreciated and pics will be provided when asked!

It’s very likely just a pending charge if you haven’t received a receipt from Spotify via Email 🙂


A pending charge is a part of your bank or credit card company’s authorization process. When you submit a payment, they place a temporary authorization on the funds.


If the transaction doesn’t successfully complete, no money will be taken and the charge will soon disappear. The time this takes can vary, depending on your bank/credit card company. For more information, contact your bank/credit card company.
