Clarification on gift card + 30 day trial

Hello, I am planning to buy a 1 Month Spotify gift card. However, I’ve been reading online and I discovered people had to fill in their credit card details after adding in the gift card so that they would then get the free trial. As I am a student who does not have a credit card, and has never bought Spotify Premium, will I not be entitled to the free trial since I only have a gift card but no credit card?

That's right. When you redeem a Gift Card, you won't receive any kind of trial as Gift Cards are not eligible for those. 🙂 So, for example, if you purchased a $10 Gift Card, you will only receive one month of Premium.
