Me llega el informe del banco del pago a Spotify en pesos pero cuando recibo el resumen de la tarjeta esta en dolares porque ???

I hope you don't mind if I reply in English, since it's the official language here, but feel free to reply in Spanish.

 

Has it always been like that or it started recently? Anyway, I guess this issue is happening due to how international transactions are processed.

 

Even if you're paying from a country where the local currency is pesos, Spotify might be billing your card in USD, especially if your account was set up in a country where they charge in dollars. When the payment is processed, your bank converts the amount from USD to your local currency, applying the exchange rate and possibly a foreign transaction fee. This is what you see on your bank reportOn the credit card statement, you can see the original currency of the charge—in this case, USD—before conversion.

 

If you'd like to avoid this, check your Spotify account settings: what's your selected country, and also see if it's set to charge in your local currency.
