College discount

Hi! I currently enrolled in college for the fall of 2017 and I'm trying to enable the student discount, but it says I'm not a student at said college..why isn't it working?

Hi!

There could be a couple of possibilities:

1. Not every college is elligible for the discount. Spotify is currently working to expand to more schools.

2. If you have an Apple Music account, you'll need to cancel that subscription before using the discount with Spotify.

Thanks for the response! My college is in fact eligible and I don't have an apple music account...so what else could be the problem?

Another potential issue could be that you cannot use the student discount until you are an active college student. Since you begin in the fall of 2017, you are in a weird limbo state of no longer being in high school, yet also not yet being in college. I created my student account about half a semester into my freshman year without a problem, so I can only troubleshoot. I hope this all helps.
