Combining a username that's free, and one that's got Premium

I'm using an iPhone 7 Plus, as well as a Lenovo laptop.

Can anyone tell/show me if there's a way to combine accounts? My FREE account has all the playlists I've ever made (as with anyone, there's a LOT), and the Premium account I have is through my Facebook [2 different emails] - is there any way to combine those so the Premium will have all the playlists I've made, so I can delete my free account?!

Hi @1210472880 and welcome to the Community! 🙂
Spotify has a step by step walk through that should be able to get your playlists transferred. I copied it below and hope that it helps!
Have a wonderful day! 🙂

If you've created a new account, and want to have all your old playlists on the new one, this workaround shows you how to do it easily by yourself!

Note: This first example of a workaround only works on Windows desktop devices.

  • Log in at your old Spotify account on your desktop
  • Choose a playlist which you'd like to move
  • Click and hold the title, and then drag it to your desktop
  • Do this for all playlists you'd like to move
  • Now you should have all your playlists on your desktop
  • Log out from your old account and login on the new one
  • Drag the playlists to the 'New Playlist' button
  • When the playlist appears in the app, click the three dots and then click 'Save to Your Library'

If you're not on a Windows device, there's something else you can try:

  • Log in to your new account
  • Find your old account by searching in the app
  • When you have one of the old playlists open, select all the tracks (use the keyboard shortcutsfor this)
  • Click 'New Playlist' and give it the same title
  • Drag and drop those songs from the old playlist in to the new, identical playlist
  • Repeat for each playlist!

Note: This won't keep your playlist followers as it's essentially a new playlist.

Hey there @1210472880,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

If you'd like to have your playlists, Saved songs and followers on your new account, we'd recommend also checking this Spotify Answer.

We'd also suggest, following the steps here to close your Free account once you've done, to avoid future confusion.

Let us know how you get on 🙂
