Could not join duo premium due to previous plan

Hello!

I'm having a trouble accepting duo premium invite from my fiance. He paid for the plan, specified our shared location (in Russia) in his profile and received the invite link. I'm getting error message in Russian saying I should wait for a year to accept it, since I've previously used another family subscription (I've already cancelled it).

Is there an option to accept new paid premium earlier without waiting for a year? Should my fiance cancel the duo premium since I'm not able to accept the invite?

Hey @anya-a-irk, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Since you’ve joined a Premium Family plan and recently left the plan, you won’t be able to switch plans twice in a 12 month period (this applies to Premium Duo or Family plans). 

You’ll only be able to join the plan you just left if it's still active or start your own plan.
