Credit Card Banned?

Credit Card Banned?

I had a montly subscription.

My credit card reached its maximum limit, therefore, I kept being charged by Spotify but the payments didn't take place.

My subscription was automatically canceled after some time.

Now I want to subscribe for premium again, but Spotify is not accepting my credit card number.

I ask:

1. Has my credit card been banned?
2. If yes, can it be unbanned?
3. Wasn't it easier to just set things square and pay for any service I occasionally used without paying, due to my credit card's lack of limit?

Every credit card has a limit, and I'm ashamed I couldn't manage mine properly. I had an emergency call in a foreign country --someone committed a crime against me-- and I had to spend everything I had to solve the problem and get back to my country.

I'd like to simply solve, pay for it and use the service, I wouldn't like to create a whole new credit card just to be able to use Spotify.

Thank you, friends!
