Credit card renewal fails repeatedly

I know there is a topic about this already but their answers didn't work for me. I have a new credit card but Spotify won't let me pay with it. I have tried everything:

  • double and triple and quadruple checking the numbers
  • using incognito mode
  • checking whether the card is enabled for foreign purchases (it is)
  • checking whether the card is enabled for online purchases (it is)

So what should I do? Just wait for some time and try again?

Please try clearing your browser's cache and cookies.


In case you get the same results, you can cancel the current subscription, wait until the account goes back to Free and then resubscribe.

When your account gets downgraded to Spotify Free, no saved songs etc. will get deleted.
