I have registered under the student discount however I was not sent any email confirmation whether it was successful or not. And when I try to apply again it keeps saying it is reedem

First i'd suggest following the steps provided in this Spotify Answer article.

In addition, i'd check spam/junk filters as confirmation mail can end up there.
