Do I need to change my payment method after 1 fail?

My Question or Issue

so the thing  is I forgot to check my account's balance, the payment failed, I rushed to make my balance eligible again, then spotify asked me to add another payment method

Actually I am wondering, do I need to change my payment method like right now? or can spotify just bill to the same address later after a few days?

Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us here!

If Spotify tried to charge your payment method, but if failed, your Premium subscription will not be cancelled immediately. Spotify usually tries again one more time, using the same payment method you set. If you already fixed anything that avoided the charging, you just need to wait until the next attempt. 

 

Keep an eye on your email, in case of any updates about it...

Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us here!
