Hey I recently swapped over my payment method and now I have two $1 charges on my bank statement! What are these for?

This is just an authorization charge to confirm the payment method is valid. It’s usually shown as a pending charge on your statement, but transactions can also appear as refunds. Some banks/companies may delete them from the account entirely before you even see it.
