I just bought Spotify Premium for Students and it charged my account twice. Does anybody know how to fix it?

Thanks for getting back in touch with this.

 

Just to confirm, we'd recommend heading to your subscription page here and checking when your next billing date shows up as.

 

If it's more than a month away, it's possible you clicked the upgrade button more than once by accident. No worries, in this case, the second payment that was taken in effect prepaid for another month of Premium.

 

However, if your next payment date shows up in the next month as normal, then it's possible you have another account that was also upgraded. You can check here for more info.

Hey @Ryu_Haru.

 

Welcome to the Community.

 

If we’re unable to verify your student I.D, then unfortunately you won’t be eligible to claim the Student Discount.

 

In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’ or 'processing.' This means, your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken. Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank 🙂

I just checked it and, fortuantely, my Premium ends in December, so everything is okay! 😄
