Duo Premium invite page times out

Solved!

Duo Premium invite page times out

Plan

Duo Premium / 3 month Trial

Country

Ireland

Device

tried on Android and windows desktop (both incognito and normal)

My Question or Issue

When trying to send invite using "https://www.spotify.com/account/duo/invite/" the page ends up in timeout.

Page just times out but using Dev tools I could see the error:

Request URL:
Request Method:
GET
Status Code:
404

Remote Address:
35.186.224.25:443

code: "NOT_FOUND"
detail: "Home not found."

I guess it fails since the account is on Trial Duo, but should be fixed so we can actually use the 3 month trial Duo Premium

Is there any other way to send the invite?

Hey @aoliveira,

Hm, that's odd.

In this case, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support here.

They'll take a look and do their best to help.

Have a nice day!

Hey @aoliveira, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Could you try sending another invite using a different browser or private window? You can send an invite by following these steps > Invite and remove members section If that doesn't work, send me a screenshot of the error message being shown. Make sure to hide sensitive information when posting to the Community.

Also, let me know it the other person you're trying to invite resides at the same physical address as you.

Keep me posted!

Hi, thanks for the help.
Same error on both private window and normal for Firefox and Chrome

Hey @aoliveira

I didn't receive the screenshot that you sent me. To make sure that you're sending the screenshot correctly, under the reply box there is a section called 'Attachments'. You can select that and it will direct you to your image gallery. Then, you can choose the screenshot picture you want to share, and then post the reply.

Additionally, as I mentioned in my last reply, can you let me know if the other member you're trying to invite lives in the same physical address as you or not?

Keep me posted.

Hi Billy,

Sorry I replied via gmail, and attached the picture there.

Yes we both live in the same address.
We've activated the Duo account and processed payment option via PayPal
Master account already has the premium features, like no ads, etc

Regards,

Hey @aoliveira

Thanks for the screenshot!
One more thing we could try is asking the plan manager to send you another invite using a different valid email address. You don't need to use the email address on your Spotify account to send an invite.

Let me know how that goes.

Hi Billy,

What you say does not make too much sense.

If I receive a link from an email address that is not even an spotify account, how am I going to be linked to the Duo account?

btw Manager account still shows as Spotify Free, however its using Premium features.
