Entering a Duo subscription but with an existing account in the family

My mom is currently using a premium individual plan through her cellular provider. Recently, they dropped Spotify because Spotify encourages users to pay directly to them. Being a senior citizen, she needs help paying digitally.

So I want to help her by subscribing to a Duo plan. When I do so, how will her billing be? Should she stop using her service now? She still has until August 21, 2024.

Hopefully someone can help (both of us) so I can proceed with the subscription.

There's no reason why she should stop using Spotify due to this 🙂 She could even use it after August 21, but on the Free service if she doesn't upgrade to a Premium plan (or join a Duo/Family plan).

If you decide to subscribe to Premium Duo here, you'll be able to invite her account to your plan as soon as her account is back on the Free plan.
