Failed to subscribe with a Debit Master Card

My Question or Issue

Couldn't subscribe to Students Plan with an SBI Debit Card which is a MasterCard, it says something went wrong and then I ended up buying Spotify Prepaid plan for 7 days. I want to subscribe to Students Plan, please help.

Can you please try to subscribe to the Student plan using a different browser or an incognito window?

Nope it didn't work, it's sad since this issue is from Spotify's end and I'm not the only Indian Spotify user who's facing this. In the given thread, mod marked solution as to contact respective bank which is far from truth. I currently switched to Apple music due to this issue and will not be back until the issue gets fixed.
