Family premium but currently had subscription for a year from a gift card

Hello! I currently have a premium subscription for Spotify for a year.  I got the deal from Costco and will end this December. Now I’m planning to get the family premium. What will happen to my current subscription in case?

Hi,

These are two things. Account and subscription. Your account contains all the data, like the playlists you made. You can change subscriptions, for example premium to free to premium family, the account doesn't change.

If you want to switch the subscription, the best thing to do is stop your current contract, after a while you will get spotify free. Then choose for family, account and playlists stay the same but you will get a premium subscription.
