Finished the payment but still in Free

Finished the payment but still in Free

I have finished my payment for Spotify Premium and the money was debited from my account, but Premium has still not been activated for me. 

(I have a Student Discount, I paid for it via Google Pay and I am in India.)

I am attaching the receipt, please tell me what to do.

Thank you for the screenshot.

Could you let me know what the subscription status of your account is here? If it doesn't say Premium Student, could you check your receipts page here and let me know if you see a charge? 

 

When you open the Spotify app, are you able to use your Premium features? If not, could you let me know what happens when you try to access a feature (download music, for example)?

 

You can also follow all of the troubleshooting steps provided in this support article, and let me know the outcome for each step.

It says my subscription status is Free, and there is no change in the
reciepts section of my account; I am not able to use any of my Spotify
premium features.
I've also tried the troubleshooting steps, but nothing changed.

The charge that you showed me in your original post, does it show as Pending or has it been posted to your account?

I got a message from my bank that the amount has been debited, and even my
Google Pay, it shows that the transaction was successful. However, in my
Spotify account there is no receipt.

OK, gotcha.

Generally, it takes 1-3 business days for the payment to be received on Spotify's end, and once it does - the status of your account will turn to Premium Student. If you just processed the payment today, let's wait 1-3 business days (and I'll check in by Thursday) to make check if your account has turned to Premium Student.

 

If you received an email confirming your Premium Student subscription, please let me know.

Can you check your account overview page again here, and let me know if the status of the account is Premium Student? If not, can you let me know if you still see a charge from Spotify on your bank statements?

I checked and it's in Premium Student! Thank you... And sorry, I did not
see earlier
