My spotify 7 day free trial should have ran out today but it still hasn't and im getting worried but looking at a comment i saw that it takes 48 hours before it goes back to the free mode is that true?
yes you will
Hi @user-removed, welcome!
You won't get charged without a subscription. You'll only get charged when you filled in your creditcard details and when you have either an active trial or Premium subscription.

If I get the free 30 day Premium trial, and I cancel before the 30 days is over so I don't get charged, will it cancel what is left of my trial? If that is confusing I mean, if i cancel the subscription on day 2 of the trial will the rest of the 28 days of my trial be taken away?
Hey @kk2501,
Spotify subscriptions aren't prorated.
If you've signed up for a trial or promo directly on Spotify.com, you can cancel its renewal at anytime here.
Once the cancellation's done, you can also keep track of the remaining Premium time on your Subscription page. Your account will then automatically go back to the Free service.
Hope that helps 🙂
@cakeoverpie
I can assure you that you won't be charged when the trial ends. Your account will simply revert back to our Free subscription.
However, you will receive an email offering to extend the trial by another 30 days. If you chose to extend the trial you will be charged at the end of those 30 days unless you cancel beforehand. The Premium subscription will then continue with rolling payments each month.
I hope this clears things up a bit--let me know if there's aything else I can help with.
@Beanie200018
It will continue as a Free version and you can play music, but you will have some ads and you can only Shuffle play Artists.
Once canceled, you'll still be on Premium for the remainder of the month you've paid for.
You should delete your payment info to be sure no new charges can be made.
1. Go to your Subscription and payment overview --> http://spotify.com/account/subscription/
2. Click UPDATE DETAILS. If it shows below 'Would you like to cancel your subscription?' click there and cancel.
3. Check the box to 'Remove', and click 'Change' button,
So after my trial I will not be charged unless I register my card because I just want to see if I like it I won't be forced into paying it right?
If you're using iOS be sure to check your itunes subscriptions for Auto Renewals and turn it off for Spotify.

If I subscribed for the 7 day free trial,will I get charged after or will it automatically turn off my offline playlists?
If you didn't input any payment information, your account will go back to Free, so yes, you will lose your offline content.
You do need to check your itunes subscriptions for Auto Renewals and turn it off for Spotify before the end of your 7 day trial.
