From premium to student subscription

I applied for the 50% off student discount and sent a document to prove that I am a student. I got an email that said: ''We verified that you're enrolled in an accredited college or university, which means Premium for Students is but a few clicks away. Go back to Spotify to complete your purchase.'' I currently have the normal Premium for 6,99 a month and hoped that it switches to the 3,99 offer automatically, but yesterday was the date, when my subscription was renewed and it charges me still 6,99. What do I have to do to change my normal Premium subscription to the Student discount?
