Garmin Fenix 6X: BBC Podcasts not syncing

My Question or Issue

I just subscribed to Spotify Premium, thrilled that I can listen to podcasts, directly from my watch. Oddly enough, BBC podcasts are not syncing to the watch. All other podcasts work flawlessly. Is this an issue Spotify is aware of and will remedy with an upcoming release to Garmin Connect?

Correct. Garmin support stated that "due to limitations", only Spotify hosted podcasts can be played. This sounds absurd...

Further still, the app has now completely stopped syncing podcasts when I added a specific podcast. I am very disappointed by Spotify and Garmin pushing a product which is far from mature.

Hi @Newbie_Nick,

I understand your frustration. The only thing we can do to make the podcasts stable is to give spotify feedback about the issues. Podcasts are very important for spotify. If something is not working I'm sure they are interested in your feedback.

What is really the issue, podcasts don't sync? None of them do?

Hi Rene,

To put it briefly:

1. BBC podcasts don't even show up on the Garmin interface at all. All other podcasts do.

2. If I follow the famous German podcast Fest & flauschig the Podcast menu of the watch starts showing an error message and no podcasts can be synced or played.

Any idea to whom I can adress the above?

Although it looks more like a bug, you can still add it over here. A community manager will give you feedback about what he is going to to with your idea.
