Gift card and free trail

  Hi spotify, my account is on a free trial but I purchased a gift card and already redeemed it, will it automatically pay when the free trail is done, because i redeemed the card while i am still on the free trail and will i be charged on my debit card if i do not cancel the free trail even though I have a gift card that is redeemed?

If i cancel my free trail, will it cancel my redeemed gift card ??

Hi there @taehyung_is_beutiful,

Thanks for reaching out. Redeeming a gift card doesn't cancel your active subscription, if you have one. It simply adds the respective number of months to your Premium time. If you had an active subscription before redeeming, then after the Premium time from the card expires, you will be charged again and the plan will continue as normal. If you don't want to pay again, you can cancel at any time and the account will revert to free once your existing Premium time expires. Cancelling will not make you lose the Premium from the card or any Premium you already paid for.
