My Question or Issue

 I wish to buy a gift card (or start an account) for a friend living abroad. Are there any problems I should be aware of before playing for a 12months acount that will never be used in the same country as from where it was payed for?

Spotify gift cards can only be redeemed on Spotify accounts registered in the same country where they were purchased.
