Gift cards work even when there is a price increase?

I would like to know if the $10 gift cards still work even if the price has increased to $10.99

They do work.

In Finland price was in 2020 €10 month, they increased Debit card prices to 10,99.

I redeemed few 6 mo cards at €60 rate. You can have 18 months worth of Individual at the most. They will work as well when price in my country went to 11,99 right now as we speak. Remember, card will add months, not money value. So you get months at ridiculously low rate. I have over 17 months worth of Premium at €10 waiting. I plan to grab few 60€ gift cards as they can be stored and redeemed at 12 months after purchase. Look at receipt they give you, it should say ACTIVATED. Then you will be sure, they will work once redeemed.

I don't even say RUSH, as I saved using gift cards for years now, they are still coming at store €10, 30 and 60 amounts.

I asked seller not so long ago, at which rates they can order them, and these are still the rates. She said only look of the card has changed recently, not the price amount, so I bet one can get Spotify at old price without worrying about price hike. For years to come.

So if I bought a 99 dollar Spotify gift card for one whole year. Will I only get 11 months?

Thanks for your reply in this thread. 

No worries, as long as the card is valid and you bought from an authorized seller, you will get the Premium time shown on the gift card. So if the card shows is for 12 months, 12 Premium months will be added to your account when you redeem it.
