Google mini home redemption

I have an individual premium account and have been trying to redeem the google mini for quite sometime, however as soon as I clicked confirm and moved onto the next page with a saying that an error has occurred:

 

 

An error occurred
We're sorry but you're not able to redeem at this moment
 

Individual

Premium

USA

 

Device

MacBook Air 2015, IPhone 7

 

I read the description on what falls under the eligibility and my account does, I am just wondering if there is a way to get this to work so I can redeem it?

Hey, I don't think that you're the only one, they may have put that step on hold because they're having so many problems with it. I tried about 2 hrs ago.

Initially, I was able to get to the checkout page, but the discount wasn't applied. 

I started the process over and now it will not allow me to go to the checkout page on Google, the wheel just spins every time. I was on the phone with Google Support, and they said that they were having an overwhelming amount of calls on the Spotify Google Mini Promotion. Apparently they have a Department on it.

After being on hold for 1 HOUR I was told that they would contact me on my email. 

 

So even if you get passed the step that you're at, there are more problems in the next steps.

I tried the above steps and suggestions, it’s still popping up as an error has occurred unfortunately.

I just ran into a lot of the same issues I've seen in the redemption of the free Google Home Mini- my issue would take me from the Spotify page, I'd link my accounts, prove I wasn't a robot and when directed to the Google Store, the promo wouldn't work. 

 

I signed out of my Spotify, closed my browser, turned off my VPN and when I rebooted Google Chrome *poof* it worked! When the Spotify page directed me to the Google store, all of the mini's were listed at a cost of $0! 

 

 

I'm glad it worked for you! Thank you for that tip. I tried what you said, but it is still telling me that an error has occurred. 

 

I may just give up at this point, I don't see this changing unfortunately. Kudos to everyone that was able to redeem.
