Have Spotify family, updated payment and got changed to premium

 

I have had Spotify family for a long time now, I got a message yesterday that the card were declined and all I did was signing into PayPal and selecting the same card to pay... Now my entire family are free users and I'm only premium, how did that happen? I did not change anything about the subscription, just payment.

 

I've had this issue once before and ended up getting switched to premium and had to pay again to get family back... Yet this happened again under 12h of getting card declined m

For this particular case, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support. They'll take a look and do their best to help.
