If your account was reverted to free, it's best to check the email address associated with it for any emails from Spotify notifying you of what happened. 

 

The most common reason for this is when the system fails multiple times to process the payment for your plan. To see if this is the case, check your receipts page and/or reach out to your bank/payment provider.
