We have a Premium Family Plan. My husband is trying to listen to an Audiobook but he got cut off because apparently there are only a certain number of hours per month you can listen? Other than the fact that this makes zero sense (WHY???) I am trying to purchase Top-up Audiobook Hours for him. I found this information:
You can purchase top-ups with a credit/debit card or PayPal.
To top up on your account:
HOWEVER when I go to the "Subscription" there is not an "Audiobook listening time" option to select. The options are:

I have searched in all of these segments but am unable to find the "Audiobook listening time" link that is supposed to be there. Does anyone know about how I can make this happen???
Solved! Go to Solution.
I am getting the exact same message! I got cut off with 23 minutes left in my audiobook. Please Spotify, make this process easier! I don’t mind to buy the top ups, but you make it virtually impossible!!!

My Question or Issue
Yeah. This is absolutely a ripoff. I paid for Premium Family and I'm already paying to access everything Spotify is distributing. The audio books are already narrated. It's not like the narrator's getting paid again by the hour. So silly to go get a top up. Amazon does this MILES better.
Pay attention Spotify. Talk to your Product Owners and R/D team to improve this. Heck, hire me as a PO so I can help you implement this. Ridiculous.
Hi - I bought a topup but I am still unable to listen to the audiobook in my phone app - the app is unable to access the topup hours. What do i do?
I have paid for top up and can see it
in my account but when I try to play my audiobook it says I need to get top ups. Is there a step I’m missing to allow the top ups to be available in my
spotify app?
I ran out of listening hours for audio books. I am trying to purchase top up but when I follow the instructions and go to my account, I cannot find the place to purchase top ups. I also do not know what a top up is. I am just trying to purchase more listening hours this month.

My Question or Issue
Been a Spotify Premium member since the beginning. I was so excited that they added audio books and had no idea that I only had 15 hours of listening time. Got through one book and went to the second book of the series and BAM out of listening time. TERRIBLE!!! $13 for another 10 hours that have to last a whole year?! Total rip off! I would be more willing to add Unlimited audio book listening for $13 a month but only 10 hours?! Get real Spotify, terrible.
Hey @whiskymick,
Sorry to see you've been having issues with finding the Manage Audiobook time button!
Could you send us a screenshot of what options you're seeing when you open the page, mentioned by @Billy-J in this thread's solution? We'd be happy to take a look 🙂
Note: When uploading any screenshots, always make sure there's no sensitive info visible.
Much appreciated! We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
You have to sign into Spotify on a web page not via the mobile app. Once you’ve signed in go to your plan then within that plan will be audio book time and below the top up button. Beware it’s the same price as paying for audiobooks monthly and only gives you an additional 10 hours so worth signing up for audiobooks and cancel when your done 👍
