Hi there,

 

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

 

You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Under Your plan, click Change Plan
  3. Scroll to Cancel Spotify and click Cancel Premium

Your Premium time will stay until your next billing date, and then your account will switch to the free, ad-supported service. You keep all of your playlists and saved music when your account is on the free plan.

 

Note that if your Premium plan is associated with a partner company (e.g. your mobile or internet provider), youโ€™ll need to cancel with them instead. You can find their contact link on your account page, under Payment.

If you have a Premium subscription that you'd like to cancel, you can do so by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Under Manage your plan, click Change plan
  3. Scroll to Cancel Spotify and click Cancel Premium

Your Premium time will stay until your next billing date, and then your account will switch to the free, ad-supported service. You keep all of your playlists and saved music when your account is on the free plan.

If you'd also like to close your Spotify account and delete your data, you can do so by clicking the link provided in this support articleAfter you close your account, Spotify emails you a link which you can use to reactivate it within 7 days. After those 7 days, your account cannot be reactivated and the process to delete your data will be initiated. However, you can always create a new Spotify account.
