How many gift card can i redeem at the same time? Does the gift card add up

I have 2 gift card codes of one month each. I activated today the 1 month gift card code. My question is: what happened if i active the other 1 month gift card today? I lose this first month or it gives me a second month of premium spotify?

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. Don't worry, you can redeem your gift card code and it will be added to your previous month. You can add up to 18 months of Premium in your account. For more info on how to easily redeem your card, check out the video below.
