Hulu not working with premium

Hulu not working with premium

I have the premium plan and have the free Hulu that comes with it and it is no longer working.  Hulu keeps asking me to change my plan and pay. Not too happy that I pay for premium and can’t even get in contact with someone as well.  Probably canceling my family’s service as well as mine at this point.

Could you let me know if you're on the individual Premium subscription or part of a Premium for Family plan?

 

Also, did you recently change your plan or update your payment method?

@Billy-J.  Thank you for the reply.  Just prior to my Hulu not working I received emails from Spotify stating my email and password were changed and updated successfully. I never authorized these changes and as a result updated my password.  I chatted with a Spotify representative and advised them of this as well. It appears my account was hacked and my plan was upgraded from Individual Premium to Family Premium which canceled my Hulu.  The Spotify representative stated that the Hulu promotion was over and as a result I would not be getting the promotion returned to my account even though I was hacked and none of the changes made to my account were authorized.

I am sorry that something like this has happened to you, and I hope it doesn't happen again. The Premium and Hulu bundle has ended, so therefore you or Spotify won't be able to add Hulu back to your account.

 

If you're a college student, you may be eligible for Premium for Students.

This SAME EXACT issue happened with me. I am furious. I got the email that my email address had changed (which i did NOT authorize) and then i go into my account to investigate further and my premium account had changed to a family account which again, i did not authorize!! i think this is spotify's way of weaning off people using the free hulu subscription. I have been in touch with Spotify's customer representatives numerous times to no avail- they tell me the hulu promotion has ended (WHICH I UNDERSTAND BUT I NEVER MADE THESE CHANGES TO BEGIN WITH SO NOTHING SHOULD HAVE CHANGED WITH MY ACCOUNT) and they tell me they will escalate the issue to the specialist team but this was a week ago and i still havent received an email. i am so frustrated by this. i will probably be cancelling spotify for another streaming service.

Sounds like the Better Business Bureau and FTC need contacted for false advertising and deceptive practices.
