I can't redeem my 6 months of spotify premium gift card

I bought a 6 months spotify premium gift card from my local convenience store and when I entered the code it says "Unfortunately this Premium code does not seem to be valid. Try again or contact customer service." I referred to the serial number of the card and to the receipt and it matches. Wonder if anybody could check whether my card is valid or could someone activate it for me

If you’re having trouble redeeming your Spotify Gift Card, here are a few things to try:

• Scratch the PIN cover on the back of the card gently with a coin to reveal the code.
• Double-check that you’re entering the correct characters—for example, zeros (0) can sometimes look like capital O’s, and capital I’s might resemble ones (1).
