But, when I entered my college name Spotify site didn’t recognise it and keep saying to enter a valid college name. So I got fed up with entering my college name coz Spotify was keep discarded it. Then I decided to quit from filling that information page. So the thing is even though I quite the page and I never had to chance to get that premium for student option, Spotify is changed $5.99 From my credit card. Coz I had to fill my credit card details first before I go to the second step which is fill my college details which was never worked. So my problem is why Spotify changed money from my even I didn’t had a chance to get any premium services ??? So I want my money back which was changed from me for no reason and unfairly.

Hey @lahirupathirana,

 

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken.

Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank. You can reach out to them for more information about any pending payments.
