I got a refund over 1€ but I never issued a request. Why did i recieve it?

I use a premium account and wanted to continue using it, even after the price increase from 9,99€ to 10,99€. Spotify withdrew the 10,99€ in beginning of january and refunded me 1€ as of today (25.01.24). Why did this happen? Did this happen to anyone else? (based in Germany)

This has been looked into and it seems to be associated with the monthly price increase. 🙂 Since you've likely accepted the price increase, you should've also been informed that this increase will go in effect at a later date.

Spotify Premium should now be charged at the new rate moving forward.
