Yep! And the person appears confirmed on my Duo plan! I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

 

If you've already confirmed the member correctly joined your plan under your account page> Subscription> Manage members, then it's possible the person you invited is using a different free account.

 

In that sense, we'd suggest they make sure they've logged in to the correct account. To do this, they can follow these steps from a mobile device:

  1. Tap the picture profile at the top-right of the screen.
  2. Go to Settings and privacy
  3. At the top, tap Account. There they can find the email linked to their account (if any) and the type of play they have.

If they aren’t certain about the details they used to register on the app and can't locate their Premium account, they can go to password reset and enter possible email addresses they own. When you enter an email that's registered with Spotify, you'll get a password reset message for that email.


Note: Keep in mind there are a few ways to sign up, e.g. with email, phone number, Facebook, Apple, or Google. They can try logging in with these, their Premium account may be linked to one of these options as well.
 

Lastly, there are a couple of things we think you should take into account:

  • Accounts that make part of a Duo plan are independent of one another. This means, the only change that will affect your member account is if you decide to cancel your subscription. Any other changes won't affect each other's accounts.
  • It's expected to listen to ads when playing podcast.
  • We recently had an issue about this. This is already fixed, so we suggest your member makes sure they're running the latest available version of the app on their devices.
