I have a student plan but it also charges me an individual plan

I have a student plan but it also charges me an individual plan

I have the student plan, since the previous month Spotify charges me $2.99 for that plan and immediately after it charges me again for an individual account $5.99 that I don't have, I just use my bank details for my current student plan account.

I need help to identify the reason for the double charge and the return of the amount charged without my authorization.

Hey @Matifran,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

It may be so that you have two accounts with two subscriptions. Here is how to find out if that's the case.

You can find out more about our refund policy on this page.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

Thanx for the answer, look, I don't have other accounts and I am very careful with my bank details, so the additional charge really took me by surprise and caused me concern. Fortunately, I already communicated directly with a Spotify advisor with whom we verified that my card was linked to an account that was not mine and which I was totally unaware of (a situation that still worries me) and he has already solved the problem, I am waiting for my refund that I hope will be soon, and, mainly, not to go through this insecurity problem again.

It should be noted that a couple of months ago somebody tried to hack my account and I had to change my password and all that, I imagine that at that time they had access to my bank information.

It is still a matter that causes me concern and I hope that Spotify's security policies prevent the same thing from happening again
