I have bought Samsung S20+ but can't redeem 6 month promotion

My Question or Issue

I am using my app to activate 6 month premium for Samsung via my new phone, whenever i press "Try 6 Months Free" it opens up another screen, where it says. 

Unable to connect

Please check your settings or try again later

Retry

Can you please help me resolve this issue? I have attached the screenshot as well

First, do you mind going through the process one more time, after making sure that you're on the most recent app version?

It's also worth trying with a different internet connection.

Thanks for keeping in touch and adding this!

There's a newer version of the app available at the moment. In this case, we'd recommend making sure that both your device's software and Spotify app are updated to the latest version available.

If that doesn't do the trick, it might be a good idea giving it another try after a soft reset of your device. To do this, simply turn your device off, wait for a couple of minutes and power it on again.
